121. How to Reach Out Without Feeling Salesy or Spammy

Reaching out is one of the most important things you can do as a direct seller, but it’s also the most avoided activity. 

I explain the four different types of reachouts and how and when to use them so that you build a connection without pushing the relationship. I also give you examples of each type.

I walk you through the Connection Checklist and show you how to check each reachout to make sure you don’t come across as spammy or salesy, even when you’re sending an offer message.

I show you all angles of what to do when someone doesn’t reply to your message and how to re-engage them without saying “Did you see my last message?” And I explain why asking that question isn’t helpful and what to do instead.

I wrap up by giving you tips and best practices, including how to develop the habit of reaching out and how to get the support you need to get the results you want.
